Investigating the Host Response to SARS-CoV-2
Understanding the complex interplay between a pathogen and the host response is important to developing effective vaccines and therapeutics. NanoString’s nCounter® Analysis System and GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) enable researchers to rapidly perform high-plex experiments in key areas of biology that answer questions related to the effect of pathogen infection at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and individual level. The nCounter Analysis System has been utilized in hundreds of publications on pathogens and the associated host response, including in several recent studies on COVID-19.
In this webinar, James R. Heath, PhD, President and Professor, Institute for Systems Biology and Joseph Beechem, PhD, NanoString Chief Scientific Officer & Senior Vice President, Research and Development, will discuss our most recent understanding of how the host immune system responds to SARs-CoV-2 and the myriad ways in which NanoString research tools can be used to study pathogenesis and aid in vaccine & therapy development.
