NanoString’s nCounter™ Analysis System includes everything
required to run your assay. We
supply the Custom CodeSet of probes,
Prep Plates, Sample Cartridges,
Control Mix and two instruments with
embedded analysis software. We are currently working
with early access customers and the system will be
more widely available in the first half of 2008.
Custom
Probe CodeSet
Our libraries
cover
up to 576 genes. The gene list is created by the customer
and can be as simple as a list RefSeq ID’s where we have
pre-selected probes or as complex as fully custom set of
oligonucleotides selected by the customer.
Control
Mix
A
comprehensive mix of positive, negative and process
controls may be added to the hybridization reaction to
help quantitate, QC, and normalize gene expression
levels across samples.
Prep Station
The instrument
inputs include a hybridized sample in a strip tube, a Sample
Cartridge and a Prep Plate.
Digital
Analyzer
The Digital
Analyzer
takes images of bound reporter codes and processes the
images providing a simple count for each gene and
control. The Digital Analyzer accepts six Sample
Cartridges and can process up to 72 samples
unattended.
Sample
Cartridge
The sample
cartridge is a disposable component where hybridized
mRNA and respective reporter probes are bound and
imaged. The Sample Cartridge allows processing of up to
12 samples at a time.
Prep
Plate
The Prep Plate is pre-filled and sealed and includes all the
reagents necessary to fully process 6 samples on the
Sample Processor instrument. Two cards may be loaded on
the sample processor to accommodate up to 12 samples at
a time.
